Open Source · Self-Hosted · Mobile-Friendly

Your coding agent.
One persistent workspace.

Give the Pi coding agent a home beyond the terminal. Keep conversations, code, tasks, Git changes, and project memory together—then pick up from your desktop or phone.

Node.js 22+ · Pi agent included
$npm install -g pi-cloud && pi-cloud

First run creates an admin login and prints a generated password. Bring your own model credentials.

One project, a working rhythm

Start small. Keep the thread.

First, let the agent understand the project. Capture the next idea, try a separate approach, and review what changed before moving on.

Choose the context before the task

Select the project, model, and skills for a new session. Start by asking the agent to read the README and identify the relevant files before requesting changes.

2.0.6 · Session setup with placeholder model credentials; no model request sent.

Actual interface, shown in Chinese. These are setup and review examples—not a recording of autonomous delivery.

Make the work reusable

From a good answer to a useful artifact.

Keep an instruction worth repeating. Read the document it produced. Put feedback where the next session can use it.

Reusable instructions

Stop rewriting the same request

Keep common instructions as prompt templates. Use project skills for repeatable procedures, then choose which skills belong in each session.

2.0.6 · Built-in prompt, not an executed task.
Tools, deliberately

Add the connection you actually need

Configure MCP servers for the selected Agent profile. Review external tools and their permissions before making them available to a session.

2.0.6 · Setup only; no external tools connected.
Reading & sharing

Read the document, not just its markup

Open a Markdown preview with an outline and rendered Mermaid diagrams. Check the structure and the explanation beside the source before sharing it.

2.0.6 · Actual rendering; sample notes prepared manually.
Visual thinking

Sketch the plan before touching code

Explore a Mermaid mind map in the visual editor, inspect its source, and render its preview. Keep the plan in a file rather than losing it in a chat.

2.0.6 · Sample map, not a model-generated result.
PDF annotation

Put your feedback on the page

Mark a checklist, highlight a passage, or add a note. Review and export an annotated PDF—or create a PDF copy directly from Markdown.

2.0.5 capture · Manually annotated sample PDF.
Controlled access

Decide what gets access to the workspace

Configure optional TOTP or passkeys, inspect audit activity, and issue revocable API tokens for trusted server-to-server session integrations.

2.0.6 · Setup shown; no API tokens or MFA enrolled.

See the interaction

Small moves. Less context switching.

Short, silent recordings of actual browser interactions. Sample content, no live model execution. Nothing plays until you press play.

Keep the next idea within reach

Open Command Center, return to the conversation, and check Task Inbox without leaving the workspace. Chinese-language sample UI.

14 seconds · Pi Cloud 2.0.5

One mind map, three views

Switch from a sample visual plan to Mermaid source, render its preview, and return to the visual editor. English-language UI from the earlier tour.

Away from your desk

Continue the conversation.
Not a new explanation.

Securely open the same Pi Cloud service from your phone or tablet. Find the session you were using and pick up the thread.

  • Follow up lightly: read a response, clarify a requirement, or add the next question. Leave detailed code review for a larger screen.
  • Keep the workspace running: the agent and repository stay on the machine hosting Pi Cloud, not on the phone.
  • Connect safely: remote access needs your own HTTPS and authentication setup. Don't expose the service just to try the mobile view.

2.0.6 · Responsive viewport, not a device test.

Self-hosted by design

Your machine does the work.

Run Pi Cloud on a workstation or server you control. Connect your browser through your own network and secure remote-access setup.

Browser

Desktop, tablet, or phone. No local agent installation required on the device you browse from.

Pi Cloud + Pi agent

Persistent sessions, terminals, tasks, memory, and repository tools on your workspace machine.

Your model provider

Use configured cloud APIs or local models. Data sent to a model follows your provider and tool configuration.

Self-hosting is not an agent sandbox. Review tool permissions and use HTTPS and appropriate authentication for remote access.

Start with Node.js 22+

Give your agent a place to work.

Install Pi Cloud, save the generated first-run password, and open http://127.0.0.1:3000. Configure model credentials in the agent profile dialog.

npm install -g pi-cloud && pi-cloud
